How to purchase a house plan from Home Designs Online
Home Designs Online provides a great range of home designs at a very affordable price. Our designs are supplied with CAD (Computer Aided Design) files, which you can take to your local builder, or draftsperson. These files can be uploaded into their own drafting software, allowing them to make any necessary adjustments to suit your needs.
If you prefer, we can also provide this design adjustment service for you at an additional cost, added to the purchase of the standard plan you are interested in.
Design Adjustment Pricing
Our pricing to make adjustments to our designs and to reissue you with a new set of updated floorplans and elevations is as follows:
Double Storey and Split Level designs: $1490 AUD
Single Storey designs: $1090 AUD
These prices are additional to the cost of the standard design.
Please note that we allow you to return to us to adjust and fine-tune the design to your requirements a maximum of four (4) times. On the fourth and final round of sketches, we will update the floorplan and house elevations and reissue your new personalised design package, ready for your use.
Process for Purchasing Standard Design Packages and Adding Design Change Fees
On the design page you are interested in, click the Purchase Now tab.
The price of the standard design will be displayed.
If you are happy with the standard design, simply proceed to checkout.
If you would like us to make changes to the design, select the relevant design change option from the dropdown menu, add it to your basket, and then proceed to checkout.
After Your Purchase
Once we have received confirmation of your order, we will email you our standard design package within 24 hours.
If you have requested adjustments, we ask that you print the plans at home and clearly mark up your required changes on the floorplan using a red pen. Please then scan and email the marked-up plans back to us, along with a small list explaining your required adjustments, so we can commence drafting these changes into a new set of floorplans for you.
This process can be completed a maximum of four (4) times. On the final draft, we ask that you ensure everything is exactly as you would like it, as additional drafting fees may be applicable for any further changes beyond this point.
